HARRISBURG – Rep. Jason Ortitay (R-Washington/Allegheny) will host open houses at two locations in the 46th Legislative District where he will soon be operating satellite office hours.
The first open house will be on Monday, April 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Smith Township Office, 1569 Smith Township Road, Suite 5, Atlasburg. The second open house will be held on Tuesday, April 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Canton Township Office, Canton Township Municipal Building, 1265 W. Chestnut St., Washington.
“My staff and I have always aimed to be accessible,” Ortitay said. “With these new satellite office hours, I hope to better meet the needs of my constituents. I thank Smith and Canton officials for providing me with this space. If you are free during my open houses, I urge you to stop by to share your thoughts on state-related issues and enjoy light refreshments.”
The Smith Township satellite office will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every Monday and Thursday starting on April 1. The Canton Township satellite office will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month.
The 46th Legislative District includes Collier and South Fayette townships and Bridgeville, Heidelberg, McDonald and Oakdale boroughs in Allegheny County. It also encompasses Canton, Cecil, Mt. Pleasant, Robinson and Smith townships, and Burgettstown, McDonald and Midway boroughs in Washington County.
