HARRISBURG — The Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court today ruled in favor of a lawsuit filed by Bridgeville Borough and South Fayette and Collier townships against PennDOT, finding the agency has no authority to implement its plan to toll nine bridges across the Commonwealth. Commonwealth Court Judge Halts PennDOT’s Tolling Plan

HARRISBURG — Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court Judge Ellen Ceisler today issued a preliminary injunction ordering PennDOT to stop its work related to its plan to toll nine bridges throughout the Commonwealth until the full court can render a decision. HARRISBURG — The Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court today conducted a hearing on a lawsuit filed by South Fayette and Collier townships and Bridgeville Borough against PennDOT to halt its plans to include the I-79 bridge near the Bridgeville exit on its list of nine bridges throughout the Commonwealth that will be tolled under the public-private partnership (P3) bridge program, said Rep. Jason Ortitay (R-Washington/Allegheny).

Ortitay to Lead Hearing on Bill to Create Disability Inclusive Curriculum
