Seniors Invited to Ortitay Health Expo

BRIDGEVILLE – Rep. Jason Ortitay (R-Washington/Allegheny) today announced his fifth annual Senior Health Expo is scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 10.

The free event, open to all area seniors and their families, will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 740 Washington Ave., Bridgeville.

“I’m pleased to offer this event again,” Ortitay said. “Each year, it has grown, and attendees have expressed their appreciation for all the useful information available in one location. If you have not been able to attend in the past, I urge you to take advantage of this opportunity. A variety of information will be available from state agencies and nonprofit organizations.”

On-site health screenings will be offered, and light refreshments, giveaways and prizes will be available. Flu and pneumonia shots also will be offered at no charge for those who bring their Medicare cards. No advanced registration is required.

The 46th Legislative District includes Collier and South Fayette townships and Bridgeville, Heidelberg, McDonald and Oakdale boroughs in Allegheny County. It also encompasses Canton, Cecil, Mt.
